Well, considering the news agencies’ propensity for both overstatement and understatement of fact, I’ll not jump too fast. But, if a JQC complaint were to be filed, at least the good judge would be assured that at least she’d have the TRUTH found. In any case, either she or the taxpayers of Fulton would be free. But, lest we forget, if it’s the law, there’s the possible question of a violation of oath of office for the County Manager and /or the Finance Director, and she can arrest for offenses committed in her presence or within her immediate knowledge.

Judge Tusan should be removed from the bench for using such tactics. If the expenses are not preapproved, then the judges or their staff can elect to attend events or training with their own money. One of the events in question is staying at the Ritz on the beach where the judges get wined and dined by the attorneys. Disgusting!!!!

I‘d like to know why the taxpayers are required to pay for any of this. If the rest of us want to go to the state bar meeting or take a CLE course we pay for it ourselves. Are these judges not paid a salary? How can I get on the dole?

Oh, and by the way, isn‘t it a gross conflict of interest to be using a judicial office and the power of the courts to issue orders, to collect money you claim you are owed because you‘re a judge. At the very least every Fulton County judge ought to recues themselves in this matter.
