Atlanta police announced Tuesday afternoon that a Roswell man was in custody in connection with the shooting death of Trinh Huynh, who arrived as a child refugee from wartorn Vietnam, grew up in Georgia and dedicated herself to the Atlanta legal and immigrant community.

    I never paid much attention to this story until now. This is truly a sad story. I can‘t believe that there were no signs that this guy was walking around with a depraved heart. I can only pray that her family can seek comfort knowing that she was loved by many.

    incredibly sad. Gun control, anyone? In addition, I thought being a lawyer is a "safe" job that people won‘t shoot you or physically injure you, assuming this is a crime motivated for professional reasons. PLus, she was a corporate atty, not handling criminal law where I can see retaliation via physical injury means...
