The Georgia Supreme Court has upheld a contempt order against a lawyer representing a murder defendant, finding that DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Mark Anthony Scott was justified in levying a $500 fine against Jonesboro solo Herbert Adams Jr. for failing to be prepared for trial in July 2011.
