MACON, Ga. (AP) - A Bibb County judge has granted bond for a wheelchair-bound man accused in a fatal shooting. Judge Edgar Ennis set bond for Frank Reeves at $100,000 Thursday. The 73-year-old man is charged with felony murder in the death of 65-year-old Linda Hunnicutt. Another judge in early January denied bond for Reeves and his attorney, Veronica Brinson, requested the court reconsider. Police say Reeves shot Hunnicutt after his wheelchair came into contact with Hunnicutt's Buick outside a Macon gas station Dec. 4. She later died, despite efforts of bystanders to revive her on the pavement. Brinson says her client's family is working on securing bond. Reeves would be ordered to wear an ankle monitor and would be allowed to leave home only for medical and court appointments.
