SPRINGFIELD, Ga. (AP) - Sheriff's deputies in southeast Georgia say they have busted the largest methamphetamine lab ever discovered in Effingham County.

Authorities say they arrested two men Wednesday after raiding the lab at a home in the county west of Savannah.

Sheriff's investigator David Ehsanipoor says deputies seized roughly 150 pounds of a mixture of methamphetamine and residue from raw ingredients used to make the drug. Investigators also found 100 2-litre bottles used for cooking meth.

Authorities did not immediately release the name of the men who were arrested. They were booked at the Effingham County jail on charges including trafficking and manufacture of methamphetamine.
