On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to express condolences to the family, colleagues and friends of attorney Christopher N. Shuman of Cumming on his recent and very untimely passing.

Mr. Shuman's exemplary career in the legal profession spanned more than 25 years, most recently as a partner with the law firm of Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins of Atlanta, during which he established an exceptional record of service to clients in insurance defense litigation. He also served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church USA and as a member of the board of trustees for Mount Vernon Presbyterian School.

All Georgia lawyers can be inspired by our colleague's dedication and career-long efforts to promote the cause of justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all citizens. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Robin Frazer Clark, President, State Bar of Georgia
